Ok, it is official, my day got worse.

Well if any of you have kids living at home aged 19-20 then you will know where I am coming from.

Put a Stepfather and a 19 year old who quit his job into the mix and what do you get.. EXPLOSIONS!

Today was that day!

My son has been out of work for 2 weeks, he quit his job because he did not want to be anyones "bitch" at work so he said.

He was told that he had to find a job withint 2 weeks because we would not have him lounging around the house all summer.

Well you guessed it, 2 weeks passed and no job.

Ok, so the newspaper comes and I see a couple jobs up his alley, which he went to school for.
I call him up, show them to him and he seems less then interested.

He sent me a link to a job earlier on msn but I had not looked at it yet. So we proceed to my computer and take a peekaboo. Who knew what the job really was, just said outdoor maintanance and lots of standing. So while looking at this rediculous job, guess who puts in their two cents???

You guessed, the stepdad.

His comment was "maybe you should apply for welfare and go live with one of your friends for free".

Now talk about BAD TIMING.

Son huffs and retreats to his room. I smack husband in arm and ask "why do you have do that?"

Ok, another bad move!

He freaks TOTALL out.. I was in front of him and he was making my feet slide on the floor trying to keep him from going after my son.

Next thing, one is at the top of the stairs being restrained by me, who by the way just had major surgery 4 weeks ago, and the other at the bottom of the stairs yelling back and forth.

Son walks out the door.

Wife calms husband down..

Son comes backs and starts packing his things and says he can not live under the same roof with his stepdad.

I am not sitting here waiting for my son to let me know when he is ready to be driven to a friends house.

Now, earlier I asked if that was it for my day or was their more?

I ask you.. would YOU want to be me right now? Seriously.. *I* don't want to be me right now..

CALGON.... TAKE ME AWAY!
