Three days and counting. The door is about to close!

Since my last post, I have called my mother 2 more times to no avail. She is still ignoring my messages.

I have it 7 days starting March 10 for her to call me. I sent her the card saying I am not perfect and that my relationship with her is too important to allow my brother to come between us but she just will not budge.

Another Day and No Phone Calls

This is really starting to get to me.

It has been almost an entire week and nothing, no calls from anyone in my family.

I have given it until this Sunday. If I do not hear from my mother, I will have no choice but to close that chapter of my life.

Feeling Miserable and Burnt Out!

Another day has passed and no word from my mother.

Spoke with her sister and she is awe over how my mom could do this to me.

I wrote a letter, rewrote and again over and over, not sure what to say without offending her. There is absolutely NO way to write anything that she would not take as an insult.

The only words I can say that she would accept is "I am sorry mom". I really do not feel that I did anything wrong here, therefore not feeling the need to use those words.

Brother Finally Flies The Coop!

Well the latest update is that the eagle has left the nest.

Apparently he left my moms on Wednesday morning, heading back to Alberta. YAY!

I also just found out that my son got the last seat in the College he was wanting to take his welding course in. Again YAY!

So I thought, I will let my mom and sister know the great news and it was my sister who informed me that my brother had left Ontario. So after speaking with her, I thought I would try and call my mom.

More Drama

So it has been a couple days since my last post.

Update:

My dear brother has been sending text and email messages to his son and his ex. Since Dec 1, he has sent over 600 emails to his ex and over 300 text messages.

Most of them contained name calling and threats.

Immediate Family

So my post yesterday spoke about a brother who has been causing havoc between me and my family.

Well it would seem that the last 49 years of my being there for them all, helping whenever I can and making sure they had updates and pictures of the grandkids was all for not.

The brother who was out of everyones lives for 15 years has managed to make the entire family to not speak with me now.

Facebook and Family

When I first started on Facebook about 6 years ago, none of my family was on it. Now they are all one it, even the ones I do not want to see.

Now what happens is that you get a friend request from a family member, lets say one that you have not spoken to in 15 years ok. You feel obligated to add them out of guilt and curiosity.

So great, now you added them. But you forget that they can see everything you say or do on it.
