Well the latest update is that the eagle has left the nest.
Apparently he left my moms on Wednesday morning, heading back to Alberta. YAY!
I also just found out that my son got the last seat in the College he was wanting to take his welding course in. Again YAY!
So I thought, I will let my mom and sister know the great news and it was my sister who informed me that my brother had left Ontario. So after speaking with her, I thought I would try and call my mom.
Well that was a dud.
She got my letter and she is now really ticked off at me to the point she is refusing to talk to me.
I am sorry if the truth hurts but she needed to know her son was threatening violence on her daughter and grandson.
I did get the answering machine and left a voice mail for her saying the following:
"Hi Mom, I just spoke with **** and she said that I should try calling to let you know the good news. Your grandson got the last seat in the College he was trying to get into for the last 3 months.
So I just wanted to let you know. I guess you are still not taking my calls, well thats ok, if you want to ever talk to me again, you know where I am. Bye for now."
Well it is 24 hours later and nothing from her. But she has always been a penny pincher and god forbid she spend a couple more cents on a call outside of Sunday.
I guess I will just have to wait it out.
It is funny though, parents like to say how immature we act over certain things but then they go and do the exact same thing.
Talk about a temper tantrum and holding a grudge.
Seriously, my brother rips her off for over $20,000 and beats on his sister, yep, you have to forgive that. But when I refuse to have any dealings with him, that is unforgivable.
Can we say hypocrite?
