Neighbors

So we have the new neighbors now we will call them Al and Peggy.

The Cedar hedges that kept us private from them are now lowered and we can see clearly into their back yard.. oh yay!

You see, they are good people, but now it is constant yelling back and forth over the hedges. I can not even BBQ without one of them making a comment about it.

Today I made BBQ Ribs and I felt like hiding the entire time I was out there.

Anniversaries

Is it me or am I just totally lost when it comes to special events?

I was raised that when a special day comes, you think ahead, you buy your cards and gifts in advance. Think about what you want to do for or with the person on that special day.

Well you see, my friend is married to a man who thinks that Birthdays, Christmas and Anniversaries should be spent at home, no need to do anything special. Just veg at home type of thing.

Nutty Neighbours

Alright, so we have this neighbor that lives two doors down from us.

Last year, I had just gotten out of the hospital and was trying to deal with a migraine headache.

I kept hearing this gas motor going. I looked out and saw the neighbour using his gas leaf blower. I though, hmmm, ok I will leave him be.

Bad idea, it turned into 4 flippin hours he ran that thing for.

Weather and irritability

Hot weather!

Why do we complain in the winter that it is too cold and pray for heat and in the summer we complain it is too hot and want cold weather?

I personally am a spring person, not liking the extreme cold or the extreme hot. But with all this global warming it will only get worse.

So, why do people feel the need to go out in public and voice their hatred for the weather. I mean today I was in a store and no one was smiling and just about everyone was complaining about it being too hot? One woman was yelling in the store at everyone saying it is so hot outside, why is everyone shopping.

Unsavory Friends

I know, it has been a while since I posted. But your going to really enjoy this one.

Ok, so my husband has this friend. We will call him Jim.

You see Jim is, what he claims to be, is an earth person, living off the land and building from the forest around him. He uses an underground spring for water and hunts for his meat.

Sounds great huh? NOT!

Kids

Ok, so back to my real family now.

Son, turning 20 in a week, took him to the Youth Career Center where he went into a meeting with a career counselor. Which is all fine and dandy, but when she comes out with my son and I ask, "well, where are we at with him". She looks and smiles and he says "I am pretty messed up in the head mom".

Now I ask you, how the heck do you respond to that one???

So we were last on how to get rid of cockroaches.

Now up to this point, they are using all of my stuff and not paying rent. And get this, they like to play wrestle and both weigh over 300lbs. You can only imgine what they did to the panelling on the walls down there. One wall that devided the room from the laundery area almost came down from the two of them wrestling.

Time to send in the calvary. My boyfriend comes to the rescue, I hear yelling and thumping and then a door, hey wait a sec.. he took the door off the hinges.. I guess that was to stop them from slamming it all the time. Now what do I do?

Ok, so she moved in with me...

Now one would think I would have learned after the first few times living with this woman. I guess stupidity really does reign in my family..

So, now she is living with me, in a 2 bedroom apartment, with me and my 2 kids. Talk about cramped.

Understand this one thing, she is a major partier and likes to drink the fish out of their tanks.. I am the complete opposite, a home body who likes to spend my time with my kids when I am able to.
