Kids

Ok, so back to my real family now.

Son, turning 20 in a week, took him to the Youth Career Center where he went into a meeting with a career counselor. Which is all fine and dandy, but when she comes out with my son and I ask, "well, where are we at with him". She looks and smiles and he says "I am pretty messed up in the head mom".

Now I ask you, how the heck do you respond to that one???

Well of course I said "what else is new, can you tell me anything that I do not know?"

Wrong thing to say I guess, because the look I got from my son could kill have killed the devil himself. lol

So from there we come home, chill for a while.. Oh yeah, he has a JOB interview, so we run out the door. He get there, sit in the car since the meeting is in a Donut Shop, who the heck knows what this guy looks like.

I said "ok you keep trying to call him and I am going in to buy a coffee."

I go inside, I wait in line.. the cute tall young man stands 1 person behind me. I only noticed him because I was looking back to see if my son was coming in.

I look at this guy and, yeah ok I was checking him out, but I noticed paint on his pants. I thought.. hmmm my son's interview is for painting, this guy HAS to be the guy.

So I ask him, not like I just walk up to people and gab just because they are cute or anything right, but I asked "are you suppose to be meeting someone here for an interview for a painter?"

He said "yes I am"

I said well I brough my son here to meet you then, he is in the car trying to call your cell phone."

He says " Alvin right?" (btw names are made up here ok)

I replied "yes, and here he is coming in now".

They met, sat down, I grabbed my coffee and ran out the door. God forbid I be nosey and sit near them.. dang.. I should have!

So he comes home, turns out he knows this guy in a weird way, he is from our home town, worked for the same people in the past.. lots in common..

The good news.. He is training to be a painter tomorrow and he will be OUT of the house from 8 -5 each day..

:)=< <------me doing the happy dance!

FINALLY I have my son working again, for how long, we shall see, but at least it is a start.

I will keep you all posted on the outcome.. Want to lay some wagers on how long he will work this time?

I say 2 months.. what about you???
